We need to raise over £8 million every year to provide outstanding Hospice care to the local community. To get involved with our fundraising activities, design your own, or make a donation, use the information on this page.
Donating your pre-loved clothes to Hospice in the Weald is more than just clearing out space in your wardrobe – it’s a powerful way to support a worthy cause.
With the help of our volunteers, each donation goes through a careful process, ensuring the items are given a new lease of life to raise vital funds for patients and their loved ones at the Hospice.

When you decide it’s time to part with clothes that no longer serve you and donate to our shops, you’re choosing sustainability and giving these garments a second life, all while making a meaningful contribution to the Hospice. The items can be dropped off in one of our 28 charity shops and are not limited to just clothes – we welcome furniture, bric-a-brac, books, homeware, and more.
Every donation and every penny raised from sales directly supports those who need it most, while doing good for the environment and saying no to fast fashion. What’s even better? The value of your donation increases by 25% when you add Gift Aid, at no extra cost to you!
Once your donation reaches the charity shop, it’s sorted by our volunteers who assess its quality and suitability for sale. Clothes in good condition are set aside to be processed, while any unsuitable items are recycled, so nothing goes to waste or ends up in landfill.
Volunteers tag and price each item based on its condition, brand, and market value. All items are affordably priced for customers, ensuring they get the best bargains while maximising the potential to raise much needed funds. Once tagged, the clothing is hung and displayed in the shop, ready to find a new home.
We couldn’t do what we do without our shoppers, who regularly visit our shops in search of hidden gems amongst the wide variety of stock on offer. Each purchase directly supports patients and their loved ones at the Hospice, with profits allowing us to continue providing our services in the local community.
From counselling sessions and Living Well activities to expert care and support received on our Wards and at home with the help of our Hospice Outreach team – customers can feel good knowing their support is making a real difference to people facing life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses in Kent and Sussex.
The care and support we provide wouldn’t be possible without people who donate, shop, and volunteer with us. We need over £8 million each year and generate more income through our charity shops than we receive in Government funding, so every donation and purchase make a difference, meaning no one has to face a terminal illness alone.
