1) Hospice in the Weald for Children Turns One

We celebrated the first birthday of our Children’s service, which now supports over 80 children and families across Kent and East Sussex. From sensory Christmas parties to respite care, the team has grown to meet increasing demand, providing vital support to families.

2) Winning Legacy Campaign of the Year

Our “All the Difference” campaign won Legacy Campaign of the Year at the Smee & Ford Awards! By inspiring supporters to leave Gifts in Wills, the campaign highlighted the enduring impact of small acts of kindness.

3) Easter Fun for Families

We hosted an ‘eggstraordinary’ Easter event for children with life-limiting illnesses. From accessible egg hunts to decorating bonnets, families created cherished memories in a safe and joyful environment.

With the support of Paralympic silver medallist Will Bayley, over 1,000 participants ran for a cause, raising funds and spirits alike in this uplifting event.

9) Embracing Sustainability

We installed solar panels at our Pembury ward, reducing our carbon footprint and taking steps toward net-zero emissions while upgrading facilities for patients.

Our biggest shop to date opened in Tonbridge, offering sustainable shopping while supporting our services. From pre-loved treasures to quality furniture, it’s a win for shoppers and the planet.

11) Dying Matters Awareness Week

We engaged in conversations about death and dying, highlighting the importance of open dialogue to ensure clarity, comfort, and excellent end-of-life care.

12) Christmas Festivities

The festive season saw over 3,000 visitors at our Christmas Market, joyful children’s parties, and the Light Up a Life service, which remembered loved ones and brought communities together.

We’re immensely grateful to our supporters, volunteers, and staff who made these moments possible. Here’s to a 2025 filled with continued care, compassion, and connection.
