Our Love Your Labels Lock-in on 26th September is set to be a night filled with unbeatable bargains and treasures. It’s the place to be if you want to snap up your favourite brands and support patients at the Hospice. Here, we speak to local fashionista, Susie @susiesecondhand, who gives us a sneak peek at her favourite pieces from the Love Your Labels selection and her inspiration behind each outfit!
“The first outfit I picked out created a colourful winter look to cheer up a grey autumn day. I chose this gorgeous bright red Jaeger coat to go over a cream Boden chunky knit, then accessorised with a multicoloured scarf and vintage blue beret. I would wear blue skinny jeans and ankle boots to complete the look, which would be perfect for running everyday errands while staying warm yet stylish!”
“The next outfit I chose was this amazing Hearts & Roses tartan dress – I love this so much. I spotted the material poking out of the rail and had to take it down immediately. I would wear this out to a Christmas party or even on Christmas Day: I absolutely love tartan as a Christmas outfit. I’ve paired it with some black heeled sandals and an incredible black and white Sara Berman vintage coat, which feels like a real golden find – the quality is incredible. I love this outfit and if I can get my hands on both these items at Love Your Labels on 26th September, I will be very happy indeed.”
“The final outfit I chose was this embellished Mylene Klass fitted red dress – I absolutely love the beading – to which I have added this fabulous French Connection camel coat. I think I actually used to have this coat about twenty years ago… I love the faux fur detail and I’m a big fan of a coat with a belt to cinch the waist and improve the silhouette. I would pair this outfit with some knee-high camel coloured boots and wear it out to dinner with my pals on a chilly autumn evening.”
“Finding a special label in a charity shop is like finding buried treasure and I am so excited that the entire Sevenoaks store will be crammed full of them for the Love Your Labels event. I can’t wait to rummage through the rails and see what gems I can find!”
