FAQ's

Can I bring snacks or drinks ?

Unfortunately due to the historic nature of the venue we ask that guest do not bring food or drinks with the exception of water or milk.

Can I bring toys, technology or phones?

No noisy toys or technology are permitted in the chapel. The host will ask for phones to be switched off during the event and will also request no photos are taken once the event begins.

How long is the event?

The event will last around an hour and we expect it to finish at 3pm.

Is there parking at the venue?

Parking at the Chapel is for disabled guests, some parking is available in the Sports Centre car park which is around a 5-10 minute walk from the chapel. We encourage guests to walk, car share or use public transport where possible. Additional parking is available in local car parks.

A drop off  area will be available for those who may not be able to walk more than a short distance; this should be arranged with HITW in advance.

There is limited disabled parking available on site and this will be assigned on a first come, first served basis to those who notify the Hospice in advance. Availability is not guaranteed on the night for those who have not reserved their space. Please also note that visitors in a wheelchair can gain access to the chapel but please let us know in advance.

Will there be a place to leave my pushchair ?

Yes, pushchairs can be left neatly inside the entry way to the chapel and volunteers will be on hand to help you. Please note they will be left at the owner’s risk as Hospice in the Weald and Tonbridge School accept no responsibility for their safety.

Yes, toilets can be found in the Orchard Centre to the left of the chapel – volunteers will be on hand to direct you.

The email confirmation you receive immediately upon purchasing your ticket should be treated as your ticket to the event.

Do you offer refunds for tickets?

Unfortunately all ticket sales are final.

Do children under 2 need a ticket even though its free?

Children under 2 go free but you will still need to register them for a ticket when you use the purchasing form. This is due to limited space in the chapel where the service will be held.
