Our staff and volunteers are crucial in delivering outstanding Hospice palliative care. We are proud to be supported by over 1,000 volunteers across our Services and Departments, including our shops.

Hospice in the Weald are proud to be reliant on over 1,000 volunteers across all our Services and Departments. Quite simply, we couldn’t provide the exceptional service that we do without their hard work and commitment.
There are so many opportunities to volunteer at Hospice in the Weald. Whether you want to help in a shop, support at events, or have specialist skills to share, we have a volunteer role for you. Anyone over the age of 16 can volunteer (over 18 in our shops).
Maybe you can spare a few hours or a couple of days a week, however much time you have and whatever your experience, you can make a difference.
To become a volunteer, all you need is enthusiasm and a desire to help, we’ll give you all the training and support you need.
Volunteer with us and meet new people, gain new skills, share your experience, and help your community. You will be joining a workforce dedicated to providing compassionate, personalised, and holistic care for everyone in our community living with a terminal illness, and for those important to them.
